MediCiti Institute of Medical Sciences is established at Ghanpur, Medchal Mandal, Ranga Reddy Dist of Andhra Pradesh by Share Medical Care (NGO), during 2001-2002 over an area of 40 acres in the MediCiti Campus of 200 acres. A 360 bedded multi-specialty MediCiti Hospital functioning at Ghanpur since 1992 is attached to MIMS. MediCiti Institute of Medical Sciences (MIMS) was started during the year 2002-2003 with annual intake of 100 students

The college has started functioning from 17th October 2002 following admission of 1st batch of students of 100. Medical Council of India has accorded permission for the 1st batch on 26th August 2002 vide letter No. U.12012/111/2000-ME (P-II) ated 6th August 2002, Govt of India, Min of Health & FW. The Ministry of Health & Family Welfare ,Govt of India.

MIMS Aliyabad Clinic Centre

Aliyabad Clinic Center is situated about 9 kms from the MediCiti Institution of Medical Sciences, Ghanpur.

We have envisaged a health care centre keeping in view the 'rural poor' our true beneficiaries of the hospital. To reach every household within a 200 KM radius of the hospital, with an awareness of health as a message.To become a health Maintenance Organization and reach out the vulnerable people,and hand them over the ticket (health card) to good health, give them a choice of living a healthy life within their affordable means.

	MediCiti Hospital is a 16-year-old hospital.It is the first Cardio thoracic super speciality hospital in the entire Andhra Pradesh. It has been in existence since 1992. In our efforts to make rural health care affordable to the people of Ranga Reddy Dist the hospital has been redesigned to cater to the local community needs. and The hospital also conducts teaching programme as a part of Medical College which started functioning since yr 2002. MediCiti provides promotive, preventive and curative services, Maternal and Child Health,Immunization, Control of Blindness due to Cataract, Population Control and Promotion of Reproductive Health.
