MediCiti Institute of Medical Sciences (MIMS) owned by "SHARE MEDICAL CARE FOUNDATION" (a Section 8 Company under the provisions of Companies Act 2013) is situated at Ghanpur, Medchal Mandal, Medchal-Malkajgiri Dist. of Telangana.
The institute was originally established by Share Medical Care (NGO), during the year 2001-2002, over an area of 40 acres in the MediCiti Campus of 200 acres and is currently amongst the top medical colleges in both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. A 720 bedded multi-specialty MediCiti Hospital functioning at Ghanpur since 1992 is attached to MIMS.MediCiti Institute of Medical Sciences (MIMS) was started during the year 2002-2003 with annual intake of 100 students.
