  • OBC/SC/ST 40%
  • PWD 45%

2️⃣ National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test

Candidates must take and pass the NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test), to obtain admission into all recognised medical colleges in the State of Telangana.

  • Candidates must achieve the qualifying percentages in the NEET.
  • General 50 Percentile 
  • OBC/SC/ST 40 Percentile 
  • PWD 45 Percentile 

NO CANDIDATE MAY BE ADMITTED TO THE MBBS PROGRAM WITHOUT A VALID NEET.

3️⃣Age Requirements

  • Minimum Age – 17 Years on December 31st of the Year of Admission
  • Maximum Age – In accordance with Current NMC and NEET Policies (subject to change based on government guidelines)

4️⃣Residency Requirements (for State – Quota)

  • For admissions within Telangana State Quota – a candidate must fulfill local or party state residency classification according to Telangana State regulations; i.e., provide study certificate(s) showing 4-7 years consecutive schooling within the state of Telangana.
  • Domicile rules could differ for Management/NRI Quota seats (Admission in top colleges within the state).
