Student Research Council

We are excited to announce the formation of the Student Research Council (SRC) at MIMS/SHARE INDIA — a first-of-its-kind initiative. Led by Dr. Shailendra (Chairman) and Dr. Kalpana (Co-Chairman), this 15-member council aims to promote research culture in medical students as envisioned by our founders.

The SRC will focus on promoting research engagement, fostering mentorship, building research capacity, encouraging interdisciplinary collaboration, facilitating knowledge dissemination, developing leadership skills, and supporting ethical research practices.

We expect this initiative to increase student participation in research, improve the quality of research projects, enhance publications and presentations, and boost institutional visibility. Five specialized subcommittees will support implementation, along with an AI-enabled Student Portal for Research to connect students with mentors and research resources.

We believe this initiative will not only transform the research landscape at MIMS but also inspire a new generation of medical researchers who will contribute meaningfully to advancing healthcare in India and beyond. We look forward to witnessing the remarkable achievements that will emerge from this initiative.
